Mrs Ami Sutarwala is the Principal Dentist at Dalkeith House Dental Practice and is a GDC-registered dentist with over 20 years of clinical experience.
She provides a full range of general dental treatments alongside advanced care, including dental implant placement, restorative dentistry, orthodontics (fixed appliances and clear aligner systems), and facial aesthetics.
Mrs Sutarwala holds Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties (MJDF) of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and has completed a two-year Diploma in Restorative Dentistry under Professor Paul Tipton, enabling her to manage complex restorative and aesthetic cases.
She is trained in conscious (intravenous) sedation and offers sedation services in line with current professional guidance, supporting patients with dental anxiety or those requiring more involved treatment.
Her clinical approach is centred on patient safety, informed consent, and clear communication. She is committed to continuing professional development and regularly undertakes postgraduate education to ensure care remains evidence-based and fully compliant with GDC standards.

Stephen qualified in Glasgow in 1985 and began his career in Scotland before moving to Cumbria, where he worked for 12 years. In 1999, he relocated to Bournemouth and later joined Dalkeith House Dental Practice in 2008.
During his career, he completed a postgraduate qualification through Bristol University and brings decades of experience to patient care.

Justine graduated with Honours from The University Of Leeds in 1995. After practicing in Leeds she moved to London and then Dorset and joined Dalkeith House Dental Practice in 2024.
In 2017 she completed a 2 year course at the prestigious Dominic Hassall Training Institute and was awarded the Postgraduate Certificate in Contemporary Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry.
Justine provides comprehensive general dental care with a calm and reassuring approach. She is committed to helping patients of all ages maintain long-term oral health through preventative dentistry and high clinical standards. She always takes time to listen to her patients concerns, ensuring treatment is delivered comfortably with clear communication at each stage.

Katie joined Dalkeith House Dental Practice in February 2003 as a trainee dental nurse and qualified in 2006. With many years of experience within the practice, she went on to become Practice Manager in 2015 and plays a key role in the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.
Katie is highly organised, approachable, and dedicated to supporting both patients and the dental team to ensure a welcoming and efficient practice environment.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband Martin and their two teenage sons. She is also a volunteer committee member for the Dorset Deaf Children’s Society.
